The UPATRAS Congress and Cultural Centre is found in the region of University of Patras (200m from Department of Chemical Engineering). The centre is 8 Km from the centre of the city of Patras. In the region of the University there are 4 hotels (1-3 Km). The centre includes spaces that are offered for congresses, seminars, meetings, lectures, and general meetings, while it allocates specialised and experienced technical personnel for the support of events.

There are two mains amphitheatres, the first with 1080 and the second with 250 people capacity. Also there are ten parallel rooms, with capacity from 15 until 130 places. Other accommodations such as audiovisual systems, videoconference, telephone lines ISDN, fax, copy machines, PC laptops, slides and overhead projectors, 500 places parking are also available. Until the end of 2005 over 700 events were hosted to the centre.
