Conferences

The two EFEPOC conferences aim to regroup all the leading scientists in EPOC in the world. Young and experienced researchers will be provoked to present their latest developments in both fundamental (1st Conference) and practical (2nd Conference) aspects of EPOC. These two conferences will be organized in two different countries by two leading laboratories in this field :
• ORigins of EPOC (OREPOC) in Thessaloniki (CPERI, Greece)
• EPOC APplications (EPOCAP) in Oléron (UCBL, France)
These two conferences take part of the young researchers training and are complementary to the training courses. They will give the opportunity for young participants to:
  • Review the overall current international state-of-the-art and the anticipated breakthroughs,
  • Present their own research results, through posters or oral presentation,
  • Discuss and exchange with leading scientists already meet during the training course.
  • Furthermore, young researchers will participate to the conference organization. They will be in charge of a part of the results dissemination of the two conferences:
    • Redaction of summaries of the keynote-lectures,
    • and contribution to the WEB site elaboration of the conference.
