Main objectives

1) Train young European researchers to the multidisciplinary field of EPOC
“from solid state electrochemistry to heterogeneous catalysis”
Help young researchers to
  • have stronger capacity of resolve problems by thinking independently
  • develop their proper innovative research
Basic notions to specific research activities
Theoretical and practical courses
3 schools over a period of 3 years (adapted to PhD students)
Exchanges and discussions between young researchers and scientific leaders

2) Structure and strengthen the EPOC European community

  • Organisation of scientific exchanges (student exchanges…)
  • Common experiments for harmonizing lab-scale methodology (electropromoted reactors la photo du centre en haut, il faudrait demander à tous les partenaire une photo de leur réacteur)
  • Common publication (review,...First example: Electrochemical promotion of platinum impregnated catalyst for the selective catalytic reduction of NO by propene in presence of oxygen - ARTICLE
Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, In Press, Corrected Proof, Available online 16 January 2007,
Fernando Dorado, Antonio de Lucas-Consuegra, Philippe Vernoux and José L. Valverde) and communications
  • Setting up of future European projects through FP7
