Management structure
The management structure of the EFEPOC forum consists of two components :
• One general coordinator supported by a scientific committee. EFEPOC forum will be managed by UCBL and Dr Philippe VERNOUX (UCBL) will be the general coordinator. He will be the intermediary between the consortium and the commission. He will receive and distribute all payment. The scientific committee determines and applies the politic concerning the publicity of the events, the dissemination of the event summaries and the selection of event participants and of Keynote speakers. The general coordinator with the scientific committee are responsible for the overall scientific quality of the events. The general coordinator and the scientific committee will be a ssisted by EZUS-Lyon 1 (Valorisation subsidiary of UCBL) for the administrative and financial management of the project for all partners, general coordination between partners and the setting up of the website and the collaborative platform.
• One local coordinator per event supported by a local organizing committee (3-4 members). The local coordinator, assisted by the local organizing committee, is in charge of the organization of the event (infrastructure, food, transportation, rental of venue, secretariat, keynote speakers travel and subsistence ...). The local coordinator is also responsible for the detailed scientific, educational, and social content of the event, the daily program, the local pre-event advertising and post-event dissemination, as well as for implementing intellectual property arrangements. In view of the educational goals of the events, patent considerations are not expected to arise. On the other hand, for copyright and citations, the Organizers will follow the customary practices of their respective fields.
